That's an excellent first episode, I'm looking forward to the rest of the story. It's great to have something new and enjoyable to read.
At the risk of being too critical: at one point there's a mention of "Jamie" rather than "Tony" - I assume that was accidental and I should try to ignore it? Also "raced passed him" ought to be "raced past him" (i.e. beyond him). (Sorry! I've been a proofreader for a local magazine, I can't help spotting such things!)
